| Brief Description: | Learn how to Plan, Design and Restore Single to Two-Implant Cases on your OWN patient in a "Step-by-Step" approach that will allow you to offer Predictable and Consistently Successful Results. They will learn to take different kinds of Fixture Level and Abutment Level Final Impressions; they will learn to fabricate chair-side temporary crowns and they will place on their patient the Final All Ceramic (Procera) or Metal-Ceramic Crown.
LIVE impressions, Tray Fabrications; Abutment Selection; Placement of Final Prostheses by ALL participants on their Own patients. Participants will perform hands-on surgeries in Simulation to better compliment their Restorative Planning abilities with an understanding of the Surgical Foundation in Implant Dentistry. We encourage dentists who register for this course to contact the Course Mentor (Dr. IRINAKIS) in order to discuss their surgical and/or Restorative case at least 3 weeks prior to course commence date. This 6-day Course consists of the 1st, 3rd and 4th weekend of the comprehensive 9-day course. |
| Educational Objectives : | At the completion of this course, participants will: 1. Understand the methodology and rationale for single implant placement and restoration. 2. Develop protocols to implement treatment planning strategies (which may involve bone grafting) 3. Demonstrate the knowledge and confidence required to design a successful prosthetic rehabilitation case with in depth understanding of the surgical perspective 4. Manage postoperative phase and/or problems of the uncomplicated implant patient. |
