| Brief Description: | This interactive seminar-based program is designed for the dental professionals who wish to acquire an improved understanding in the field of PERIODONTOLOGY, SOFT TISSUE ESTHETICS, BASIC BONE GRAFTING & IMPLANTS and the interaction of these disciplines. All seminars are evidence-based with the most current literature & techniques reviewed. This course is ideal for dentists who wish to refresh their understanding of the Periodontal building blocks in every treatment plan and of the cutting edge implant therapies. Topics will include: Current Perio Concepts; Basic & Advanced Soft Tissue Grafting; Osseous Surgery vs. Regeneration; Basic & Esthetic Crown Lengthening; Treatment Planning Strategies in Periodontics & Implants, Implant Site Development with Guided Bone Regeneration, Restorative Implant Options, Surgical Placement of Implants, etc. High quality movies & photos will be utilized for our sessions to improve the understanding in these procedures. At least one hands-on session on models regarding restorative implant dentistry will be included by the end of the academic year. Participants will be encouraged to present interesting cases for discussion. |
