Brief Description:

Learn how to PLAN, PLACE Single Implants on your OWN patient in a "Step-by-Step" approach that will allow you to offer Predictable & Consistently Successful Results.


Participants will be introduced to the surgical and esthetic restorative phases of single implants (although cases that require 2 adjacent implants will be discussed). The fundamental rationale will be presented on treatment planning, radiographic assessment, choosing the appropriate implant, risk factors, abutment selection, surgical placement, bone grafting, esthetic considerations and occlusion.
Socket preservation, Lateral ridge augmentation & Immediate Implant Placement into fresh extraction sockets will be discussed in lecture format in detail.
A live demo surgery will be performed by one or more of the surgical instructors.

Participants will perform hands-on surgeries

Under 1 on 1 supervision on their own patient!!

Suitable patients have been pre-screened and are available for dentist participants

After osseointegration takes place, the participants will continue with the restorative phase of treatment.

 

Educational Objectives :

At the completion of this course, participants will:

1. Understand the methodology and rationale for single implant placement and restoration.

2. Develop protocols to implement treatment planning strategies (which may involve bone grafting)

3. Demonstrate the techniques required for the surgical & restorative phases of single implant therapy

4. Manage postoperative phase and/or problems of the uncomplicated implant patient.
