| Brief Description: | Participants will be introduced to the surgical aspect of oral anatomy as it relates to periodontal surgery, surgical instruments & suturing techniques. Video presentations of crown lengthening will be viewed along with a LIVE DEMO SURGERY by one of the Course Mentors. Participants will perform Hands-On Surgery on their own patient! At the end of the seminar, the participants will have knowledge of how minor periodontal surgery is performed and also about the alternative treatment modalities and the limits to these newly acquired skills. We encourage dentists who register for this course to contact the Course Mentor in order to discuss their surgical case at least 3 weeks prior to course commencement date. |
