Christopher Hildebrand

After a 20 months community service in a general hospital, Dr. Hildebrand attended the Dental School of the University of Frankfurt/Germany from 1988 to 1993. He completed his thesis on panoramic radiography early 1994. At the same time he started his employment as a full time assistant professor at the Dental School of Frankfurt. With a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service, he started his specialty training in periodontics and dental implants at the University of British Columbia in 1997. He completed his NDEB of Canada in 1999 and received his fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2001.
He held positions as full time Clinical Assistant Professor in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where he also engaged in periodontics and implant dentistry in private practice. He works now part time as clinical assistant professor at UBC and full time in private practice in Victoria, BC performing numerous periodontal and implant associated surgeries.
