Alan Kilistoff
DMD, FCP
Dr. Alan Kilistoff graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, with a DMD degree in 1976. He has collaborated on research regarding cleft palates and has mentored the Pacific TMJ Study Club run by the Vancouver & District Dental Society for 5 years.
He served the Faculty of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC from 2000 to 2005. He played an instrumental role in designing the Removable Partial Denture course and established a significant number of innovations in simulations modules. He was recognized for his efforts and contributions to the teaching community by receiving the W.W.Wood Teaching Award in 2005 for "excellence in education". This award is presented annually by the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry.
Dr. Kilistoff spent 28 years in private practice constantly pursuing perfection in all aspects of dentistry. He has spent over 1,200 hours of continuing education and has extensive experience in Restorative Implant Dentistry. He was recently appointed as a full time Associate Professor in the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan.
